Smena symbol
Finally posting the first roll from my smena symbol (cmena symbol in russian i think)My first completely manual russian camera. Its a camera which you cant even tell if exactly what youre shooting is in focus, has a slightly cranky shutter control, an aperture setting which is right in the front and has a slightly smoky smell.Despite all that, I actually think its quite a fun camera to use!Here are a couple of shots that were not so blur, some of them were really bad ...haha...Shots range from tanglin halt to pretty much random shots of anything, was basically a test roll to try and get a hang of the camera.. Jeremy focusing his Nikon FG which he said he can give me together with the rest of his drying cabinet cameras ( LCA inclusive ) if he doesnt make it through this week... I wonder what i should wish for now ... Hmmm.... :D Charlene really wants to be young again..* The whole time we were playing with the machine, the uncle inside the shop was actually looking at us, the only time we discovered it was when I looked inside the shop to see what they sold and found an old man inside *Blurry shot.. though, bad focusing.. Charlene talking to mg on the phone about how she really feels like dating one of the really hot looking(charlenes opinion) japanese guys on the poster in from of her.. Charlene thought the phone has some funky smell...... Jeremy agrees.. Somewhere in Tanglin Halt... Thats a lot of joss sticks not cleared...
And if you look carefully, the chains breaking... Haha this cat was sleeping in the middle of the pavement and i was taking a picture of it and it suddenly just jerked itself up JUST BEFORE i pressed the shutter, and the cat was REALLY freaked out haha, it was quite a funny cat though... Wish i had a pet ...Again, another blurry picture... Hunky Jem sama who needed to wear a bunny mask to suppress his aura..Damn blur picture... Hunky Samuel who nearly burnt my camera with his aura.Was seeping out of his veins that day ....  Dont fall off little girl !! The flash zoomed in to save her, i barely managed to catch a picture of the flash, you can barely see the face.. Like the Blueish hue i got from it, quite quite unpredictable actually this camera.. View from outside my window.. Night shot near my house on bulb mode, COMPLETELY BLUR!!! Everytime a huge truck raced by, the overhead bridge would shake together with the camera... hence..... this stupid blur pic .. haha...Yep thats it, the rest werent so fabulous.On the whole, the camera isnt that difficult to use...Ok who am I kidding! Its HARD to use!! Ask charlene and she can tell you she forgot to focus for the first 5 shots of what she has taken with it already(Its currently with her). Once you get the right aperture and shutter settings, the real challenge is actually just the focusing, which is DAMN hard to tell with the camera... Despite that, i think im starting to like the camera..Wonder if i will still sell it off... Hmm... Another dilemma.. All the best Jem !!! Dont die on us !!!
