Tadaima

Im back from Malaysia in one piece - thankfully.

Most of the shops were closed so in the end, I really didnt have very much to get there.
This meant that the one that I did the most was ......... Eat.

Had chicken rice balls from a supposedly famous place.
Took us some time to walk there and when I finally ate the chicken rice ball.....
I regreted eating it.
It was really hard.
Everything else was alright, the only problem i faced was the RICE!!!
The rice ball was so HARD !!! oh man....

Anyway through the rest of the trip, we ate a lot.. Which was a good thing cause i love food!
But i put on weight !! And it was all fats !!
That just posed a great problem cause it means i got loads of running to do.....
Which is horrid cause im so lazy, haha.

One unique thing about the trip was the pictures we took.

My whole family(including my bros) have at least 5 digital cameras and a couple of film cameras.
The actually number of cameras brought to the trip was a total of 1.
Which was mine.
Which was a FILM CAMERA.
WHICH MEANS WE HAVE VERY FEW COLOUR PICTURES !!!

Before we boarded the bus, i suggested we take a picture first.
So we did.

We approached a nice passerby to ask him to take our photo, which he kindly helped us.
I pointed to him the button to press and went to pose with my family.
I didnt see it , but i think he was trying to figure out where the viewfinder was,
Cause when i turned around i found him looking through the view finder, completely amused!
I think he probably hasnt used a film camera in YEARS.

Anyhow, we walked round the town a little bit and i realised it wasnt really very big.
One interesting thing though, was that on new years day at 12 in the morning... I could see fireworks from my room.

The fireworks were nothing like what we have on New year or national day.
Instead, little groups of individuals all over the town of malacca set off their fireworks.
From the 20th storey in the room, the view was great.
Just imagine the whole town having little sparks shooting above their houses.
This was really spread out all over the whole town.
Coupled with firecrackers going off, this was one experience that was a first for me.

My only wish is that i was there in person at the scene to see everything happening.
I think that was my greatest take away from this trip and i actually found it really nice.

Anyhow, its really late now and i guess its back to either studying or slavery for all of us.
Happy Chinese New Year everyone!!
