    25.12.08

    Merry Christmas!!!


    Yesterday i was standing around waiting at a shelter near my carpark for a lift from a damn cool guy whom i was meeting for lunch.
    While waiting, I saw something interesting.


    A little mynah was flying around the rafters near where i stood.
    Without me even realising it, the mynah flew off and disappeared.
    some time later, i spotted it way above me on one of the beams on the rafters.

    It returned.
    In its mouth was a pile of twigs.
    Was a fairly large amount.
    Focus, persistence and hardwork was clearly evident
    The mynah was prolly collecting them for its nest.

    Then, something caught the mynah's attention.
    It turned around, and seconds later to my surprise,
    All the twigs fell to the ground and bird flew further into the rafters.
    I stood there for a while staring at the fallen twigs and the bird flying in the rafters.

    I started to think about what just happened with relation to God, dreams and life in general.

    Have you even had something you worked so hard for, yet lost it in the end?
    Lost it even though you were pretty close to fufilling your dream?
    Lost it because you allowed yourself to be easily distracted by something?
    The distraction by itself need not be bad.
    It could have been something clean and pure, but nonetheless it was a distraction that tempted you away, and like the mynah, you gave in and dropped all that you worked so hard to acheive.

    Or were you serving and following God on the right path,
    Then something suddenly distracted you away and you gave in.

    I didnt stay there long enough to see anything else, but i sure hoped for something.
    I hoped that the mynah picked up all that he dropped and went back to building his nest.
    And i hoped that this time, it would not give in to distractions and stay focused on his dreams and God.


    Anyhow.. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!


    *oh yea before i forget if you guys want akai ito episode 1 to 3 let me know. I have them in raw format without subs. Only managed to find subs for the 1st one. Havent found them for the others.
    Mg youre right, its pretty new. Started 6th december and apparently the movie on the 20th dec will continue the plot and the story then the week after the drama will continue it.
