    21042013

    How long has it been?

     Its been a year...... Since I last posted.

     Wow how long is that!

     I'm not too sure why I suddenly thought of posting about the wake I attended today. 
    This is only going to be a really short post, and maybe I just want a record so that I can one day come back and read what I wrote, and be reminded of just one or two things I saw and heard tonight.

     Just hearing about the life a such a man really made me think very much about my own life. It made me start to reflect on things. 
    He was such a blessing to others when he was alive and I dare say that he has blessed others even after death. 
    Well, at least I was blessed . 

     Uncle George was one of the old uncles in old BT church and I definitely can always remember him calling me "Young boy!" or "Young man!".
    The last time I met him was at yakun where he was having breakfast with his wife and my parents. I even remember the conversation we had with him. 
    It was about how to make the perfect soft-boiled egg and the many failed attempts at it.

     From the eulogies I heard today and my parents old stories, I could clearly tell he had blessed many people.
    He sacrificed a lot for his family and always opened his house to others.
    He was also a great brother to Aunty Chua and a great father to his two sons.
    In the short time he was alive, he has really done alot for others.

     Ok, my thoughts arent quite coming out anymore and I think its time to stop this post, but before I log off to sleep I think I want to leave a quote I had heard from Aunty Margaret.

     "He didn't mingle with the 'big' people, always the lowly people." 
    That's how she described him.
    It reminded me of Jesus.
